Meda looks for more medical sales staff having added to the pharmaceutical jobs count with 3M purchase
Once again, Meda pharmaceuticals is looking to recruit new medical sales staff following the recent purchase of 3M pharmaceuticals. The pharmaceutical jobs count has risen once more through an agressive approach to acquisition which now sees them at no.32 in the UK list of pharmaceuticals.
Having bought Viatris 18 months ago, Meda has already recruited a 30 strong high quality medical sales team. With a further 15 on the pharmaceutical jobs count arriving from 3M, with 5 existing pharmaceutical sales vacancies, Meda will be looking to mainatin the high standards of recruitment already set whilst staffing the current team.
Sales for the present portfolio are rising, and with the additional product from 3M having recently gained a key new license prospects for growth look excellent. Given the agressive approach by Senior managers in acquiring both new products and new companies, it seems unlikely this is the last of it! Perhaps we should expect more of the same in the next 18 months. Already up to 32 in the UK list of pharmaceutical companies, it would seem Meda are likey to push on up in the months to come.
