Chemists will now be able to sell MSD's Zocor at £17 per month enabling them to extend their products income earning life span substantially and tap into the many patients who perhaps should benefit from the drugs but won't be offered them by the NHS.  Once off patent drugs such as Zocor fetch a fraction of the fee of Medical sales companies if dispensed via prescription, now, the government restrictions will work in their favour to recoup losses form previous restrictions.
