Uni's compete as graduate jobs fall

As the numbers of graduate jobs falls in the UK, Universities may have to compete with a new set of rules.

Increasingly students are completing their studies to find that graduate jobs are no more.  with many major companies this year reducing the number of graduate jobs it has on offer and some abolishing their recruitment schemes altogether it's becoming a new consideration of would be students, "where can I go to increase my chances of a job".

It used to be all focused on academic excellence.  However, new research by the Sunday Times has shown that 5 Universities only stand out as producing students more likely to fill graduate jobs.  All other criteria aside this is likely to be a compelling Criteria for people looking to choose their University.  The research singles out Bath as a top place to be.  It postulates that the reason for their success could relate to their placement scheme in which students can work for a year in a company.  Other Universities will no doubt be keen to gain the answers her in order to boost their standing to attract good students into the future.
